Our Purpose

Hydrenco is a hydraulic engineering company and the market leader in the Western Cape for the supply, maintenance and installation of waste compacters, Roll-On-Roll-Off units, skip loaders and refuse bin lifters. As the regional distributor to a number of specialized handling equipment such as Mc Neilus waste compactors, PM Cranes and concrete mixers, we perform the sales, installation, maintenance and support functions to all our customers throughout the Western Cape Region.

Our History

The company has its roots dating back to 1971, when Kotie Malan formed Hydrenco cc (Hydraulic Engineering Company). The company originally focused on the maintenance of hydraulic lifting equipment and has over the years diversified its product range into specialized equipment handling solutions. During 2008, Hydrenco was acquired by The CATAI Group of Companies with the aim to grow the company, introduce black economic empowerment and work toward service excellence.

Positioning Statement

The company is well positioned to extend its growth path in the industry through its new relationship with the CATAI Group of Companies . The visionaim is to have a multi franchise service centre on the premises with the CATAI Group of companies. The first step will be to add  a mechanical workshop on the same premises which will assist customers in the region with a one stop facility.
